Good Mate Workshop - Centrals Football Club

Children's University Australia provides an exciting range of learning activities outside a child's day to day school work, whether that be before school, lunch time, after school, in the school holidays etc. The best part about Children's University Australia is that it's voluntary, so children get to choose the activities they would like to do, where, when and how they would like to do them. The things they learn about will always be able to be connected to something that they could study at a university.

CHTS is proud to be associated with Children's University and have created our 'Good Mate' workshops to introduce children to the would of first aid and supporting each other. Students will get hands on experience in treating basic injuries and conditions to help them assist their mates in the school yard, at sport or at play.

This workshop is designed to give students practical skills in basic first aid principles that may become relevant in their home, school or during extracurricular activities. All students will receive a basic first aid kit to keep in their school or sports bag.

*Students will be treated to a 'meet and greet' with players from CDFC and PAFC after each workshop. Depending upon time and availability, there will be an opportunity for students to be given a tour of the training rooms and have a kick of the footy.

*Subject to player availability
