Everyone should learn at least some basic first aid techniques, whether it's a minor situation or something more serious, first aid knowledge will give you the confidence to act.

You could be the difference between life and death.

Course objectives:

• Respond in an emergency situation
• Apply appropriate first aid procedures
• Communicate details of the incident
• Evaluate own performance
• Perform CPR procedures

Group training is available in your venue.

Assessment: These units have written and practical assessments, participants must demonstrate competence in recognising, communicating and responding in an emergency situation. If you have literacy difficulties then a trainer may be able to assist you with a verbal assessment.
