Basic Gaming Regulations & Systems | Learn how to use a Defibrillator to save lives

This 3 day program will give you the skills and knowledge to work in a hospitality venue.

It is a new program for 2019, now with CPR and a workshop on how to use a Defibrillator, these life saving machines are in all venues.

This is perfect for school leavers, university students needing work while they study, and anyone looking to begin their pathway into a Hospitality career.

Learn how to do CPR, understand your responsibilities in a gambling environment and how to serve and supply alcohol in a safe and responsible manner.

Day 1 - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol, CPR and Deftibillator use.

Days 2 & 3 - Provide Responsible Gambling Services, Basic Regulations and Systems and Attend Gaming Machines.

 

Course objectives:

  • How to serve alcohol while taking care of patrons
  • Your responsibility in a gambling environment
  • How to recognise and assist patrons with a gambling problem
  • Understand the operation of gaming machines, pay lines and processing payouts
  • CPR and using a Defribillator

Assessment: Each unit of study has an assessment, if you have literacy difficulties then a trainer may be available to assist you with a verbal assessment.

You do not have to have any prior experience to attend our Kick Start program or work in a Hospitality environment.

You can attend the units of this program individually -

RSA only $100 held on day 1 - 9.30am to 12.30pm

CPR and Defibrillator training only $100 held on day 1 - 1pm to 4.30pm

Basic Gaming $320 held on days 2 and 3  - 9.30am to 4.30pm
