
Basic Systems & Regulations
This course must be undertaken by all NEW gaming employees within 3 months of being appointed, you will need to maintain your level of knowledge through repeat training every two years.
You need to attend this course if you are wanting to work in a gaming room, employers prefer if you also have Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.
Under the Gaming Machines Act 1992, only approved gaming managers and gaming employees can carry out prescribed duties in relation to gaming operations.
CHTS has been approved by Consumer and Business Services (CBS) to train in Basic, Advanced and Further Advanced Gaming as it is specific to South Australia
Our training room simulates a real gaming room environment giving Students the practical experience required to fulfil the qualification.
Course objectives:
Assessment: Participants must demonstrate competence and understanding of basic gaming duties in both written and practical assessments. If you have literacy difficulties then a trainer may be able to assist you with a verbal assessment.
