Feedback from school holiday Good Mate workshops

"As a parent I was happy & impressed with the info provided, service and what I observed.  I'm impressed with the way that the children where taught the first aid content it must have been in an exciting manner as my son explained in great detail everything he learned.
My son was more than happy with it, he enjoyed the first aid part, the tour the whole lot.
Thanks for conducting the workshop." Tina

"It was great! We all had fun and learnt lots will be able to help people if they are in need."

"My 2 children (ages 9 & 11) attended the session at the Port club. The session was very well run and the content delivered was informative and age appropriate.     My children really enjoyed the session & thought the little 1st aid kit was great! It was also excellent value for money! They also enjoyed hearing from a former footy player and the tour of the training rooms!"   Jada

Children's University - Good Mate Workshops

Children's University Australia provides an exciting range of learning activities outside a childs day to day school work, whether that be before school, lunch time, after school, in the school holidays etc. The best part about Children's University Australia is that it's voluntary, so children get to choose the activities they would like to do, where, when and how they would like to do them. The things they learn about will always be able to be connected to something that they could study at a university.

CHTS is proud to be associated with Children's University and have created our 'Good Mate' workshops to introduce children to the would of first aid and supporting each other.

Students will get hands on experience in treating basic injuries and conditions to help them assist their mates in the school yard, at sport or at play. This workshop is designed to give students practical skills in basic first aid principles that may become relevant in their home, school or during extracurricular activities.

Parents are welcome to stay while class is being delivered.

This program will be held again in the first half of 2019.
